Interesting 'RSI' data. However, it tells us nothing about the extent to which Claude is actually accelerating the pace of progress on AI. In the Mythos 5.1 system card Anthropic stated that AI tools progress had been essential to maintaining their current rate of progress. Quoting @AnthropicAI AI systems are getting more powerful, and they're increasingly being used to build the next version of themselves. We want to illuminate that progress for the public. Today, we're sharing three measurements that help track AI development: 1. How much AI R&D is done by AI. 2. How well AI agents are… Anthropic Related

One of the projects I'm most proud of at Basecamp is one I didn't even build myself ... it was the strategic work behind the feature that shipped as "card table." It's really cool to see it getting so much use via AI automation now. Related

@SouthwestAir Your points transfer process is ridiculous. I transferred points from my credit card and rather than send them correctly to my wife's Southwest account we linked, you created a new account in my name to send the points to, and now I can't access them because I never made such an account, so it has no password nor email set for it. I definitely appreciate how many authors use their book primarily as a calling card to sell their speaking and consulting. I just don’t want to focus on those ancillary businesses, as I’m viewing my books mostly through the lens of a teacher who wants to affect change in the greatest number of people possible. I do worry about my ability to reach mass numbers of people with carefully crafted sequencing that actually changes beliefs and behavior. Related

Got an SMS alert about a failed Credit Card charge from @Wix. I don't recognize or remember any subscription, nor do I have any account with them, so I try contacting their support. Their AI bot wants first 6-9 digits of card number, full name on the card, and last 4 digits to even create a ticket. And then their support agent responds asking for the expiry date. Might as well ask for the CVV also. Related

Their words
I think if you have especially a B2B feature where you may have some lock in reverse trials can be super powerful. You just want to get people in there. You don't need to ask for their credit card because they're using your CRM or they're investing quite a lot of time in like building out, you know, material and content. And so by the time that window drops, you actually like feel, oh man, I probably should keep this and and start paying. I think for a lot of consumer products, it's a little bit harder for that to work. And so I've typically seen more just normal free trials be be the norm.

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one
sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at
korrents.com .
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said.
The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in
korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who
else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public
statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.

About the English under a post
Some people here publish in a language other than English. Where they
do, this site shows a machine translation beneath the post, in
this typeface — the site's own, not theirs.
The post itself is never changed, moved or hidden: what is set in the
serif above is exactly what the person published, and it is what to
quote them on. A translation can be wrong in ways that matter,
especially about tone.
Only the post's own words are translated. A quoted post, a linked
article and a belief on korrents.com
are left in their original language.
