I definitely appreciate how many authors use their book primarily as a calling card to sell their speaking and consulting. I just don’t want to focus on those ancillary businesses, as I’m viewing my books mostly through the lens of a teacher who wants to affect change in the greatest number of people possible. I do worry about my ability to reach mass numbers of people with carefully crafted sequencing that actually changes beliefs and behavior.
