Is there a service where I can rent access to Linux desktop machines with actual displays? We're implementing the Playbit runtime for Linux and it's surprisingly difficult to test various desktop configurations. We need a real GPU with a display connected, for testing dawn/webgpu, vsync, display sleep, etc. We use Modal and AWS, neither have had machines that I've been able to test with properly. Ideally there's a way to test a variety of systems (like ubuntu, arch, alpine etc) × GPUs (nvidia, amd, intel) × window managers. Linux Related

I actually think that the Rust project is doing pretty well at having people do it and get paid for it like by their employer, but it's nowhere near the to the same extent as as the Linux kernel.

This is supposed to be a dig against Linux, but it's actually why Linux is so great. There are so many different versions, all of which benefit from work on the kernel, software that runs on it, etc., but users can have the experience they want. I run Arch with Hyprland, but I'd never suggest that's the best for the average consumer. just gonna put this out there in case any Godot contributors see this! I know it's not a high priority issue, but I use Wayland on Linux and the latest Godot 4.5 beta spams an error message in the console constantly, which is really very annoying. Would *really* love it if somebody could fix this for the Godot 4.5 release, or even just comment out the specific line that's outputting this message. It's line 1052 in display_server_wayland.cpp, I'm guessing! Linux Related
