Apple design its own chips for its phones. The latest CPU is the A20 Pro. Geekbench is a benchmark with a database of results; you can run your own benchmarks and share your numbers with the world. In the last few days, we finally got some A20 Pro results and the numbers are impressive... reaching 4000 in single-core (one thread) performance. For comparison, the best that you can do with an x64 AMD or Intel processor is something like the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 at about 3,163 which would be somewhere between the A18 and A19. Software horror: litellm PyPI supply chain attack. Simple `pip install litellm` was enough to exfiltrate SSH keys, AWS/GCP/Azure creds, Kubernetes configs, git credentials, env vars (all your API keys), shell history, crypto wallets, SSL private keys, CI/CD secrets, database passwords. LiteLLM itself has 97 million downloads per month which is already terrible, but much worse, the contagion spreads to any project that depends on litellm. For example, if you did `pip install dspy` (which depended on litellm>=1.64.0), you'd also be pwnd.
