Did you know that the phrase "law of the jungle" came from a poem? How about the phrase "movers ans shakers"? There are many more examples. Quoting @number_pizza111 Yeats’s The Second Coming has to be, relative to length, the most quoted poem ever written. “Things fall apart,” “The centre cannot hold,” and “The best lack all conviction while the worst are full of passionate intensity” are all referenced by people who haven’t even read it.
