github actions in my oss repos suddenly stopped running today i had opus 4.8 look into it, it spent ~$10 worth of tokens and insisted that either i haven't paid my bills or there's a github outage switched to grok 4.5 and just 3 minutes in with $1.2 worth of tokens, it found there's a surge of CI runs in my firstmate repos starving all the allowed runners across my account, cancelled a bunch of them, and everything's back on track this is just an anecdotal example but i've had many positive experiences like this. people ask me why i default to grok and this is why Related

Their words
In most of the world there is: no real willingness to solve problems nor an acceptance of people offering to solve their problems (out of pride) simply too much regulation so the problem cannot be solved without a license or long approval time very low standards of what is deemed acceptable so the problem isn't seen as a problem in the first place

Network School is not shutting down; that’s fake news. We received two notices. The first tells us to change the text of a sign. The second says that our coworking site, which was created by joining two adjacent units, evidently has a valid license on the left hand side but not the right hand side. We have a remedial period for both issues, and will remediate them shortly. But our members are otherwise unaffected. Related

Thanks to your intervention, the @rblbank has started reversing some of the fraudulent debits. Earlier they had flatly refused to do so in writing and in fact informed me that the “case is closed” even though it’s pending with @RBI Ombudsman. One big lesson for me: Don’t have debit cards. Cancelled all of them. Use credit cards instead and always pay in full before due date. Quoting @suchetadalal If this can happen to @Sanjay__Bakshi - it can happen to all of us. @rblbank has a serious issue judging customers !! Related

What you want to do is say what made you cancel? In other words, what about the product or situation or whatever caused the cancellation? Just phrasing it that way, you get much better results.

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one
sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at
korrents.com .
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said.
The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in
korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who
else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public
statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.

About the English under a post
Some people here publish in a language other than English. Where they
do, this site shows a machine translation beneath the post, in
this typeface — the site's own, not theirs.
The post itself is never changed, moved or hidden: what is set in the
serif above is exactly what the person published, and it is what to
quote them on. A translation can be wrong in ways that matter,
especially about tone.
Only the post's own words are translated. A quoted post, a linked
article and a belief on korrents.com
are left in their original language.
