President of the French Republic since 2017.
English, from French Happy European Heritage Days to all. Our monuments, our landscapes, our forests, our know-how and our traditions: our heritage tells our story and brings our territories to life. Since 2017, we have made its preservation a priority. Restore, protect, revive. With the Heritage Mission and the Heritage Lottery, with exceptional mobilization of the Nation, we have acted throughout France to preserve this common heritage. The rebirth of Notre-Dame de Paris has shown what we are capable of when we unite our strengths. This momentum…

Sorry this is very embarrassing. Why write about a literature you haven't read at all? American novels have one of the strongest comedic traditions that runs from Mark Twain to Percival Everett. And if you don't Moby-Dick is hilarious you should probably try reading the book Quoting @alysdenby The Great Flatsby: why American novels aren’t funny 🇺🇸😐 ✍️ me in @spectator America Related

This moment is the first opening in 2,000 years for a new, global spirituality to be birthed. That is because the spiritual traditions, out of necessity, have needed to orbit around the unavoidable reality of physical death. That certainty is now in question and creates a cracked opening. This does not mean we can see a straight line to immorality or heaven as scripture foretells, but it does mean that the omnipotent God(s) humanity has worshiped and imagined being the bestower of these gifts and punishments is now being birthed before our eyes. However, where scripture is written to guide, s… Related

Co-founder of Panic, the Portland software company behind Transmit, Coda, Nova and the Playdate handheld console.
Started goofing around with mesh radios. Delighted to discover the tech immediately bifurcated into a slapfight between two competing protocols as per the ancient and sacred nerd traditions. Not having much luck with either of them to be honest. I can see lots of #meshtastic nodes from my home, but can't reliably communicate with any of them, and public channel is mostly silent. Not enough #meshcore coverage in my area for a fair try. Anyone else meshing in Portland? Related

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one
sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at
korrents.com .
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said.
The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in
korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who
else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public
statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.

About the English under a post
Some people here publish in a language other than English. Where they
do, this site shows a machine translation beneath the post, in
this typeface — the site's own, not theirs.
The post itself is never changed, moved or hidden: what is set in the
serif above is exactly what the person published, and it is what to
quote them on. A translation can be wrong in ways that matter,
especially about tone.
Only the post's own words are translated. A quoted post, a linked
article and a belief on korrents.com
are left in their original language.
