PISA is a long-standing set of tests that are taken by students all over the world. It can be used to compare countries and to see how countries evolve over time. In Canada, we have results per province. In math, Quebec is usually best, and it is still the case for the latest results (2025). Yet the numbers fell. You see a clear drop starting in 2022, and it continues. The drop is worldwide. It is not wealth. Most countries got slightly richer, or had relatively modest decline.
