Inter is having impact beyond my wildest dreams. When I started working on Inter ten years ago, I didn’t even expect it to survive the prototyping stage. Now it’s used by governments (including Switzerland, which is ironic in a way) and non-profit organizations around the world, bringing good typography to the people. It warms my heart to see so many young designers being able to express themselves in “Swiss style” without the need to break any laws. When I was a kid and an aspiring graphic designer, I could barely afford food and definitely did not have the money to buy font licenses. I wish… Quoting @SaberNaeemi Inter font is so popular these days on @googlefonts.
