Frum is illiterate. This quote does not blame America for 9/11 but blames America for the disastrous wars that people like David Frum--W. Bush's speechwriter--led us into Quoting @davidfrum In a now deleted tweet on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Abdul el-Sayed expressed the same the blame-America view voiced also by Hasan Piker. Putting a bag over Piker's big mouth may temporarily quiet the candidate's problem, but won't change it. America Related

Anti-Semitism is the organization of politics against the Jews - Ruth Wisse: Otherwise known as: Why confront your own failures when you can blame the Jews—or the world’s only Jewish state? If I were a Birmingham resident I would be furious Quoting @habibi_uk "We at Birmingham Labour really want you to know that we are doing everything we can to hurt Israel." Just what the troubled city of foul hate preaching and rallies for racist terrorists really, really needs, eh. Nothing on Hamas, of course. And they didn't even mention antisemitism, now energised… Related

Physicist and science communicator. Writes Backreaction and makes videos explaining new physics and astronomy results, frequently to argue that the headline about them overstates the case.
I don't think anyone seriously advocates "let anyone post whatever", but rather the question is (as so often) who is responsible. If the author themselves say they don't fully understand what some AI has proved, and it's wrong, then whose fault is that? Does the arXiv get the blame for allowing the content? Fwiw, I think that in this case AI solves more problems than it creates. If a paper is plausibly correct and lives up to the standards of the field, and the author has done their best, even if written by AI, why not just post it in a 'mostly AI' subsector (maybe just an extra flag for each… Quoting @Quasilocal To everyone now claiming arXiv should let everyone freely post whatever: you already have venues like that. The fact arXiv is different is literally the only value it has over those others. Related

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one
sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at
korrents.com .
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said.
The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in
korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who
else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public
statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.

About the English under a post
Some people here publish in a language other than English. Where they
do, this site shows a machine translation beneath the post, in
this typeface — the site's own, not theirs.
The post itself is never changed, moved or hidden: what is set in the
serif above is exactly what the person published, and it is what to
quote them on. A translation can be wrong in ways that matter,
especially about tone.
Only the post's own words are translated. A quoted post, a linked
article and a belief on korrents.com
are left in their original language.
