Hands-on with Raspberry Pi's CM5 Programming Jig In the before-times, when Raspberry Pi CM5s were (relatively) affordable, I built a number of Pi clusters (example), and one of the most annoying parts of the build was flashing Raspberry Pi OS to all the Pis. One, two,…

We don't need unwavering confidence to take action. We merely need to doubt our doubts. When people are randomly assigned to question their hesitations, they become more committed to pursuing their goals. A key to tenacity is refusing to treat feelings of insecurity as facts. Related

Switching to Linux has been great. With Windows 10 (Pro): ❗️ Webcam's settings would always get reset semi-randomly ❗️ The date from the clock would frequently disappear ❗️ Mic's volume would often get lowered ❗️ Forced updates None of these issues exist with Arch Linux. Arch Linux Related

This Mac app bug is one of the single most enraging bugs I've encountered in years! It's in all of the betas too. You get someone's @ mention randomly added to the chat when you press "Enter" and you have to click to get rid of it (and then it will come back on the next message). Quoting @benthompson Mac app: if you @-mention someone in a group chat, the @-mention is just permanently stuck in the UI and enters itself into the chat if you press Enter iPhone app: tweets only unfurl at half-height, making them unreadable. Mac bug debilitating. Related

The United States did not attend the G20 in South Africa, because the South African Government refuses to acknowledge or address the horrific Human Right Abuses endured by Afrikaners, and other descendants of Dutch, French, and German settlers. To put it more bluntly, they are killing white people, and randomly allowing their farms to be taken from them. Perhaps, worst of all, the soon to be out of business New York Times and the Fake News Media won’t issue a word against this genocide. That’s why all the Liars and Pretenders of the Radical Left Media are going out of business! At the conclus… America government Related

I suspect - but haven't verified - that in many corpora, we will encounter fairly bimodal Jaccard values - two clusters, near 1 and 0.

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one
sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at
korrents.com .
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said.
The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in
korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who
else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public
statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.

About the English under a post
Some people here publish in a language other than English. Where they
do, this site shows a machine translation beneath the post, in
this typeface — the site's own, not theirs.
The post itself is never changed, moved or hidden: what is set in the
serif above is exactly what the person published, and it is what to
quote them on. A translation can be wrong in ways that matter,
especially about tone.
Only the post's own words are translated. A quoted post, a linked
article and a belief on korrents.com
are left in their original language.
