The empowerment of the majority with AI accelerants may amplify flawed scientific approaches.
The empowerment of the majority with accelerants may serve to massively amplify flawed approaches, making it much harder for the minority opinion to prevail, even if it is correct.

The mathematics community does not nurture all of its students and ideas with great care.
Of course every mathematician knows that the mathematics community does not nurture with great care all of its students and ideas.

AI companies and mathematicians should be aligned to understanding, attribution, intellectual generosity and nurturing students and ideas, not merely producing results.
AI companies and mathematicians should instead be asking what both ought to be aligned to: understanding, attribution, intellectual generosity, and the nurturing of students and ideas, and not merely the production or recognition of results.

Current scientific publication systems may be unable to handle the increasing volume of work produced by AI.
I don't believe that current publication systems, whether for preprints, conference proceedings, or journals, can withstand the onslaught of work that is already in progress, let alone the amount of material that is to come.

Erroneous proofs of true statements in mathematics are likely not a common occurrence.
In regards to erroneous proofs of true statements in mathematics, I doubt they are common and disagree with Litt that they constitute a "not insubstantial portion of the literature".

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at korrents.com.
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said. The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.

About the English under a post
Some people here publish in a language other than English. Where they do, this site shows a machine translation beneath the post, in this typeface — the site's own, not theirs.
The post itself is never changed, moved or hidden: what is set in the serif above is exactly what the person published, and it is what to quote them on. A translation can be wrong in ways that matter, especially about tone.
Only the post's own words are translated. A quoted post, a linked article and a belief on korrents.com are left in their original language.
