I needed a mini mobile homelab setup for VCF Midwest, and I've never used UniFi gear before. Thus I built this tiny homelab network rack, that fits in my carry-on luggage:

I've been wanting to get a NAS for a while now, so I decided to go all-in and get the UNAS Pro 8 from UniFi. The initial cost was a lot but for me it's been well worth the investment.
Summary: Shipping damage. Residue on some of the components. Loud pings and pops from the assembled weight rack. A design that looked great and saved space but was painfully unusable. Restocking fee. Non-refunded shipping fees. Ghosted me about the refund.

the dorman was doing multiple things, many of which were human and kind of tacit. Security would be one.
