I was at my computer and then looked at something on my phone and tried to move the mouse pointer from my computer to my phone and now I want to know why that’s not actually a thing.
Typing out a tag and pressing enter in Substack on a post no longer auto-focuses the textfield (impossible to add tags quick now, or just via keyboard I have to move the mouse to click).
AI checkers are essentially a cat-and-mouse game. AI checkers may learn to detect a certain pattern that is indicative of AI-generated content. Then, the next LLM may incidentally or deliberately not exhibit that pattern and avoid detection. The AI checker then has to be updated to detect said LLM, and so forth.
The the part that's really nice about it is because I do a lot of Mac software, agents love to take over my screen and click around and if you put that in their own if you give them their own machine, it will not bother you. Otherwise, you'll fight with the agent for the mouse cursor.
Not having that cumbersome keypad eat up the space and pushing the mouse location further right is so convenient, it surpasses the 101/102-key version.
Even when not docked, I still prefer an external mouse for most operations. I really love the Logitech MX Master 4 mouse. For me, it feels great to hold, and it also provides support for some macOS gestures like swiping up for mission control.
And it just so turns out that um this was extremely early, way too early. so early that we shouldn't have been working on that, you know, uh because um if you're just stumbling your way around and keyboard mashing and mouse clicking and trying to get rewards in these environments, um your reward is too sparse and you just won't learn and you're going to burn a forest uh computing and you're never actually going to get something off the ground.
