Fleshed-out plans and perfect spec or PRD docs are not needed to get Claude Code started working.
I don't need to have fleshed out plans. I don't need to actually have like the perfect spec docs or PRD docs to get Cloud Code to start working

"I don't know" becomes a kind of superpower when you can work with Claude Code to figure things out.
I don't know becomes kind of a superpower cuz I'm assuming I could work with Claude code to figure it out

There are massive unlocks for AI around workflows, content design, organization and analysis, beyond generating a product, app or website.
There are other massive unlocks to me for AI around workflows, around like how whether it's content design, things that you wouldn't see, organization, like analysis. So these Claude code skills, you can I mean you can create anything that's repeatable pattern. You can create a Claude code skill for.
Kris Puckett - Becoming an AI-native designer Said 19 Mar 2026
People have more repeatable patterns than they think; they are just not great at identifying them.
I think a lot of times we don't think we've got repeatable patterns. We do, we're just not great at identifying them.
Kris Puckett - Becoming an AI-native designer Said 19 Mar 2026
Because LLMs are pattern matchers, they are fantastic at quickly spotting patterns that people miss, and can act as a mirror showing what a person is missing about themselves and their work.
at their core LLMs are just pattern matching and so they are fantastic at very quickly identifying patterns that even though the human brain is an unbelievable like the greatest pattern matcher in history, we still have these gaps. And so you can use AI to become this mirror that's like reflecting back at you some things that you might be missing about yourself and your work and where you're at.
Kris Puckett - Becoming an AI-native designer Said 19 Mar 2026
LLMs probably do not do creative exploration very well by default, but they can be taught divergent thinking very quickly.
One thing that LLMs I don't think do really well at is like creative exploration, but you can teach it to do divergent thinking very quickly.

If you don't know where to start with an LLM, you just start typing.

The more context an LLM is given about your work and what you are trying to accomplish, the better the output will be.

A skill is a set of repeatable, specific instructions that augments what Claude Code can do.
all it is is it's a set of repeatable specific instructions that augments what Claude code can do.

Being AI native has to go beyond making a cool shader or a dither effect that every other person is making.
So AI native has to be beyond just like I made a really cool shader or I made this like dither effect that every other person is making.

It is easy to feel that we can just do all the things, but the question is whether it is worth doing and whether you feel proud of the output.
it's easy for us right now, I think, to have like, "Oh my gosh, we can just do all the things." And it's like, "Yeah, but is it worth doing? And do you feel proud of the output itself?

MCPs are not going anywhere, but they will change, and more companies will lean toward better semantic APIs and CLIs than MCPs.
MCPs are they're not going anywhere. Anyone who says an MCP is dead is like, that's hype. Like that's crazy. But, they're going to change quite a bit and we're going to see a lot more companies leaning more and towards better semantic APIs and CLIs than they will an MCP
Kris Puckett - Becoming an AI-native designer Said 19 Mar 2026
An MCP fills up an AI's context window very quickly.
the context window, the window that the AI can hold and think gets filled up very quickly with an MCP.

Products should be designed with agents in mind, because a lot more agents will be doing the work for people and designers have to think that through.
do your products have an agentic focus to them? Or is everything readable by an agent because there's going to be a lot more agents doing the work for people. So you have to like think through that as a designer.
Kris Puckett - Becoming an AI-native designer Said 19 Mar 2026
Designers looking for a role need to demonstrate that they understand AI systems and are actually building something with them.
you have to demonstrate that you understand these systems and you're like you're actually building something with them. Whether it is like another shader plugin system, just do something with it to see and explore and be able to to talk to it and like talk through the process.

The bar is so high that designers who are not using AI tools to differentiate themselves will get left behind.
the bar is so high. Like everyone wants the same type of designer, the same shape of designer that if you're not using these tools to differentiate yourself a little bit like you are going to get left behind and that sucks.
Kris Puckett - Becoming an AI-native designer Said 19 Mar 2026
People will be desperate for the human side of things, more than for quality and craft.
We've had quality, we've had craft, but I think what people are going to be desperate for is more of that human side of things

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at korrents.com.
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said. The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.

About the English under a post
Some people here publish in a language other than English. Where they do, this site shows a machine translation beneath the post, in this typeface — the site's own, not theirs.
The post itself is never changed, moved or hidden: what is set in the serif above is exactly what the person published, and it is what to quote them on. A translation can be wrong in ways that matter, especially about tone.
Only the post's own words are translated. A quoted post, a linked article and a belief on korrents.com are left in their original language.
