Founders, designers and developers need to develop their taste the way a sushi chef develops a palate, and appreciating culture is how.
Like sushi chefs, we as founders, designers or developers, need to develop our tastes, in order to build things people can be impressed about.

A product needs a soul, and for that it needs one person of great taste who is its living, breathing aspect and gets furious about every small detail.
For the soul, you need a person with a great taste to be the living and breathing aspect of the product. The one forging the blades. The person who thinks about the in and outs of the product and the business.

Schools or education have very little to teach in the area of taste, you need to get involved in making something real.

A product vision cannot be transferred through specs and bullet points; the product visionary has to engage in doing.
As a product visionary, trying to describe the product on a piece of paper with paragraphs and bullet points is like trying to paint the Sistine Chapel with a whiteboard marker.

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at korrents.com.
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said. The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.
