For a company embedding AI in its products, the bigger risk to manage is a privacy or security breach, not the AI being wrong.
The exposure Apple actually guards against is not hallucination but a violation of privacy or security, where a single leak brings lawsuits and regulators at once.

People have grown accustomed to AI being non-deterministic and occasionally wrong, so it carries little brand risk anymore.
But then again, people have gotten used to AIs being wrong. There have been improvements in performance and quality, but there's an acceptance that the nature of AI is that it's not deterministic, and usually you get a disclaimer saying answers may be wrong. I don't think there's that much brand risk, as long as the experience is as expected.
