Non-consensual sex is rape even without violence
Now, most of the people in this country do not believe that non-consensual sex is rape. They think it has to be violent: wrong, it doesn’t.

Heterosexual sex must be rescued from pornography, prostitution and commercialisation
Somehow, we have got to rescue the institution of hetero-sex from the mess it is in and that is partly brought about by pornography, prostitution, commercialisation and the cheapening of everything about a woman’s body.

Stranger rape is rare; most women know their attacker
Stranger rape is very rare. Most women who are, who complain of sexual assault, know who their attacker was and is a friend of theirs and is a part of their circle.

Ever harsher rape sentences make juries less willing to convict
One of the reasons for that is the extremity of the sentences. We’ve had them raised and raised and raised in the misbelief that women, more women, will complain and more juries will convict. The effect is the opposite.

Women should name and ostracise those who behave badly
I agree that women should come out and take names and talk loud and draw a crowd and ostracise the person who is behaving badly.

Freedom is fragile; sacrificing it even temporarily betrays it
Freedom is fragile and must be protected. To sacrifice it, even as a temporary measure, is to betray it.

Security, where nothing can happen to you, is the denial of life
Security is when everything is settled, when nothing can happen to you; security is the denial of life.

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at korrents.com.
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said. The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.
About the English under a post
Some people here publish in a language other than English. Where they do, this site shows a machine translation beneath the post, in this typeface — the site's own, not theirs.
The post itself is never changed, moved or hidden: what is set in the serif above is exactly what the person published, and it is what to quote them on. A translation can be wrong in ways that matter, especially about tone.
Only the post's own words are translated. A quoted post, a linked article and a belief on korrents.com are left in their original language.
