AI is still not good at design, but it is good at taking direction, which works as long as you direct it clearly and make the right decisions.

Sound in an interface can be overdone, so be selective about when to use it and probably give the option to turn it off.
It can be overdone. Yeah, you have to be you have to be I think selective with when you do it and also give the option to turn it off, I think.

Taste and judgment are what separate good products from bad.
that's where it comes down to taste and judgment and like all the things you hear about like that are obviously significant when building products and the things that are going to separate good products from bad.

AI is like the most patient collaborator you could have, building at hyper speeds, if you know how to direct it and bring taste and judgment on what to build and how, down to the finest UX and UI decisions.
the most patient collaborator that you could ever have that builds at such hyper speeds that like humans could ever build at. And you just have to like know how to direct it. And also like taste and judgment, not only in like what to build, but like how to go about it down to just like the finite UX UI decisions.

You can tell Claude exactly what you want as long as you know how to describe it, and it will eventually get there, though perhaps not on the first, second or third try.
I could tell Claude exactly what I want as long as I know how to describe it and it'll actually output that. It may not output it the first time or the second time or the third time, but it'll eventually get there.

To get what you want from Claude you have to know what you should do and be able to describe how; it rarely gets it right the first time, so it takes many iterations.
you have to know what you should do, right? And then you have to be able to describe how you should do it. You go through many iterations, of course. Like it rarely gets it right the first time.

Writing one sweeping prompt to do everything leaves a lot to tweak, troubleshoot and debug afterwards.
I don't like to just create one sweeping prompt to do everything cuz then I have to go back and tweak it and troubleshoot and debug it and all that sort of stuff.

Claude is best used as a companion, since it may know things you do not know and think of things you might not.

What is a korrent?
A korrent is a belief a person has stated in their own words: one sentence stating the claim, backed by a quote and a source, kept at korrents.com.
Under a name here, the quoted block is what they actually said. The korrent beneath it is the claim those words support, in korrents' wording — tap it to see the record, its source, and who else holds it.
Nobody here wrote their own korrents. They are compiled from public statements, and a person can change their mind, which is recorded too.

About the English under a post
Some people here publish in a language other than English. Where they do, this site shows a machine translation beneath the post, in this typeface — the site's own, not theirs.
The post itself is never changed, moved or hidden: what is set in the serif above is exactly what the person published, and it is what to quote them on. A translation can be wrong in ways that matter, especially about tone.
Only the post's own words are translated. A quoted post, a linked article and a belief on korrents.com are left in their original language.
